A ballet-inspired fitness class, that brings together barre, pilates and HIIT training for a full-body (high energy!) workout. Expect jumps, squats and planks. And pirouettes, arabesques and jetés. These classes are open to absolutely anyone - whether you always wanted to try ballet as kid, but didn't get the chance. Or you trained for years and miss the burn (but not the exams!). It’s a follow-the-leader style class, so if you’ve never done a ballet class in your life, you’ll be fine. Just follow me! (Seriously, you’ve got nothing to worry about!). Wear whatever you feel comfortable in - leggings and a top will do the job. And if you've got ballet shoes and a yoga mat, great. If not, no worries at all. Dance is about feeling good. So we put a special emphasis on making sure people feel comfortable and welcome in our classes (expect a lot of laughter!). And that everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a spring in their step. The AE Dance + Fitness classes are held in the large, open studio on the first floor. To find the studio, enter The Big Act through the main entrance (Google maps will get you there no problem). Then head up the stairs to your left. The studio is at the top of the stairs – you’ll see us!
